Re: ATTKD Big brake kit - Just Jap
Not bad for $1400 but that being said a GTO or Brembo kit would be cheaper for comparable stopping power.

Not to mention disks and pads would be easier to source.

Re: ATTKD Big brake kit - Just Jap
GTO is 4pot and the rebuild kit is $80 for both sides. Brembos would be needed in your zooperdooperturbosetup but was mere mortals would be fine with 4pots. Or rebuild standards with a decent pad and diskBennoz wrote:My Brembo kit cost me $1200... then I had to reco all the 20 year old parts.. aka all of them lol

Nup, it's Gen Why-Bother. First you gotta source the calipers, get them here, source the reco kits, source rotors, source pads, the go to all the trouble of having the spacer brackets fabricated... far too much effort! Where's this is just a click & buy link. Ya pay for convenience.Shhtuart wrote:I would buy them all from japan if i thought there was enough demand.Bennoz wrote:Then why don't you all go & get GTO brakes? *shadowarriors*Shhtuart wrote:GTO is 4pot and the rebuild kit is $80 for both sides. Bump.
Is there anything with the facelift suspension that actually interacts with the brake brackets, or is it just to cover their asses?

"Just" because you started with wheels as low offset as stock.Bennoz wrote:Just? Just... with a 20mm spacerbjk wrote:Well the Brembos clear (just). Any other issues you can think of?dstocks wrote:And then you find your rims dont clear the calipers...
The RPF1s are +22, so no spacer required.
But to confirm, the brake bracket setup from prefacelift to facelift is unchanged?
