I removed them. prepared them for paint. Squirted a little high build primer over them. Painted them black, then top coated them with rage extasy paint. All in all cost me nothing :D A mate had the paint spare. I pre'd it and he painted it for me. Its an easy job and normal 2pac paint copes with the temperatures fine.

I've seen a grandma own a fully done up Twin Turbo Soarer. & i mean fully done up, including engine, turbo, exhaust, with all those Apexi "Blue" gauges, & 19" chrome. It remind me of that "Just car" ad, where a kid ring up to insure his grandma "fully sick" RX7.

I've also seen on an almost daily bases a late 40 to early 50 female driver, driving a full bomex body kit, 18" wheel, & exhuast 200sx. But she always do 80 at the 100 zone freeway & on the right hand lane 8O

Proud New FTO Owner

Post by NorthQLDFTO »

Greetings & Salutations To All Fellow FTOers! :D
I very recently (10 Days Ago) purchased my FTO! YAY ME!
Well here's the vitals...

Car:
Quicksilver 1995 FTO GR Tiptronic (MIVEC)

She's practically all stock for now, except for the new Eclipse head unit & front speakers (I love my tunes!)
But I plan on beginning modification ASAP...I want to turn her into a show quality ride...I've noticed that on this site a lot of members seem to frown upon the Street Racer or "Rice" look...Well  Ya'll best get attuned to it because I LOVE THAT sh*t! :D Exactly the look I'm going for!
No pics yet...She's stock...Just like 100's of other FTO's...But I'll be taking plenty of before & after photos as she goes through the mod process!

Yah, the previous owner purchased the GR then managed to get his hands on a GPX half cut from a wrecker & the swap was done about 4 months before I bought the car!
