If anything is broken or soon to be broken, fix it.

Only thing I can think of are the tappets, which would be good to replace and finally get rid of that ticking noise

Well other than that depends what you want. That's about a full exhaust with extractors worth. Or a decent set of shocks/springs (stretch a few hundred more for coils). Stretch a bit for wheels (would need tyres though). Strut bars are good and inexpensive.

First decision:
Mechanicals or performance or aesthetics.
Narrow it down from there

Yeah i was thinking of some coilovers or an exhaust system, and id like to go more performance than anything else
Oh thats what i forgot to mention, i also have a strut bar that i got from the wreckers for about 10 bucks

I'd personally go coils, might need to have save just a wee bit more (or you should've claimed more hehe, assuming tax refund).
They have good resale value for the most part and give you better handling plus the ability to adjust your height etc.

If you don't know how to fix your own car and have to take the car to mechanics.......put it towards a kitty. You'll probably need it

I'm still 19
The old girl is now sitting at 203,000 kms, not a bad effort from 48,000 12 years ago!
Funnily enough, my car is playing up (and no, it's not the tyre )
Came back on the forums to look for answers, and decided to grace you all with my presence
