GPvR from QLD
Hi guys, my name is Nick and I am a proud new owner of a white 1997 GPvR.
Wanted an FTO for a fair while now, however the Version Rs seem few and far between to come across.
I live on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, are there any other FTO owners up this part of the state?
Have only owned the car for a couple of months, in that time I have put some new DBA rotors on it, new A1RM pads and a set of OZ Racing F1 wheels fitted with semi slicks. Will be doing some track days..
When I purchased the car it already had installed Whiteline strut braces front and rear along with BC Racing coilovers.
Previously owned an Integra DC5R up until a year or so ago, feels good to be back in a dedicated Japanese sports car.
Cheers!

WTTC!
We're gonna be swimming in white facelifts. There are a few QLD members getting around in various places.

Better styling, better handling, better sound and of course a far 'rarer' car. Great funDaniel2019 wrote:How do you like the FTO compared to the DC5?

All those videos from Tsukuba (or however you spell it haha) seem to incidate as much, or that it's down to driver as to which wins out in the end.

Re: GPvR from QLD
The DC5R was a brilliantly handling car - I will have to see how laptimes compare at Lakeside on Friday. I used to get around there in the DC5 in high 63-low 64s laps, expecting the FTO to be very close to that.
Mine was of course an Australian-delivered Integra, meaning it lacked the 4 piston Brembos on the front, and instead just had single piston calipers. Probably why the first thing I noticed better on the FTO were the brakes being 2 piston fronts of course
Also being AUDM it had the K20A2 only tuned to 200hp with the JDM model having 220hp
