My front suspension is higher than the rear end so am looking into dropping the front end by 35mm by changing the spring so the gap between tyre and wheel arch matches btwn front and back.
As far as I can tell I have stock suspensions all around and 17" wheel with 215/45 tyre.
Has anyone gone through similar setup and experienced rubbing of tyre to the underside of the arch when the suspension bottoms out? or when the wheel is fully turned to one side?
You'll probably be alright in terms of scrub and touching the guard liner with a 215/45 (which is about right for stock rolling diameter). If you're not rubbing on the inside wheel well now I don't imagine that would change with lowering. Probably worth replacing all the springs with matching ones at the same time.
Have a look at coilovers too, I think they also give you more options with wheel size cause coilovers are smaller than stock shock and springs?? I'm not 100% sure but

thanks for that.
but look at my picture,, the rear for some reason seems already low compared to the front ones!
is yours (or stock) like this?
