While I'm not really a newbie I haven't been here for a while and have just finally got my FTO, so I thought I'd put a post in here anyway.

Name: Garth Llewellyn

Age: 22

Location: Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

Car: White 97 Version R manual.

Mods: Muffler, D-cuarto side skirts, old JVC head unit and 6: splits, 6*9s.
Thats pretty mcuh it, it's very standard and a good clean place for me to start, so of the Sydney members may now the car I bought it from down there in Green Valley, it had GPR-51N number plates.

Hey Guys... this is a bit diffrent from every other post around here because im not and owner of an FTO  (although i relly like them) but in fact im an owner of its bigger brother the GTO :P ...im here to see if i could maybe get some help, like places that are really good to take our mitsu car to and where to get parts... if you feel that i should not be in this forum please just tell me and i'll never bother you guys again ok... there are no Mitsu GTO forums in Australia... and the NA 3000GT in USA is all FWD so i cant relate to anyone there and you have to pay to be a member  ...

ohh by the way im 21 and my ride is a red GTO 93' AWD N/A.... its stock for now... other that a KnN Pod ... and im soon to be getting Teins Super Street Suspension (suppose to have come last friday)...ohh and i live in Sydney ...

Hi, My name is Scott and I live in Balmain in Sydney, Australia.

I just bought a 96 FTO Mivec and it's manual! It is silver and has 17's on it and a Veilside Front Bar. It has a sunroof and JVC MP3 with Pioneer speaker front and back (amp and sub on the way). It has 71,000 on it and is immaculate!

I love this car a lot more than I thought I would and the handling is brilliant and is one of the best cars I have driven. It doesn't have the power my Trans Am has or my old 200SX but around town she is awesome. Corner to corner she's hard to beat!!!

Nice car. I'd lose the rear spoiler and shave the boot lid. Then it would be awesome!!!

2 questions.

1. How do I get that picture into the Members Gallery?

2. What do you mean by shave the boot lid?

I think he was trying to say take off the stock spoiler.

ive seen a FTO with the veilside front and no spoiler. Looks very very odd :?
it only looks half decent with the spoiler off when it has a stock front.

its weird coming from Ethan becuz his got a huge veilside spoiler on his!!

When you take off the spoiler, you are left with a bit of a lip on the bonnet. If you smooth it out (i.e. cut it off) you are left with a nice rounded rear end (ha ha ha ha  )

Foulz did it with his car i think, although he put a GT wing on it, but yeah i reckon it would look awesome

And yeah Mil i like my spoiler, but i reckon i can go bigger

Have you got neon? Sun strip on your windscreen? Flashing valve caps? Distorted bass coming out of your boot? If so you should be up to mach 1 by now
LED ALL the things.
