Review: GT4

Post by Boris »

Well, it's coming out tommorow. I got a rental copy from a video shop today.

Well, the game is bloody fantastic, I reckon it will be one of the best PS2 games ever. FTO wise. you can now have GR's GPX's and GPvR's.

The changes that I like are you can't no longer just buy an old car, you have to go to a second hand dealer. Lot's of modifications that you can do. An FTO can now have a turbo! and you can even buy GT wings!

I love the new B-Spec Mode, it really makes making cash easier at the start. The game physics and modeling is soo much better. like when u slow down and you got the front camera, the camera actually moves down with the body of the car. if you hit a car it get's blurry...

Also, omg. there are soo many more cars, lot's of historic cars etc. Only bad thing about it, is the other cars intelligence still needs some work, and also ofcourse crash physics..

My Score 9.5/10

C'mon ppl, let hear what you have to say...

I cant believe the only game worth playing on PS2 happens to probably be one of the best games of all time :(

If I get enough people interested, I can get them for $90, but strictly 50% deposit require, & no excuse, no extention, no my grandma die, or I had the money for few weeks later.

Boris don't get too excitecd with the steering wheel, because i've played the GT to GT3 with different type of steering wheels, & i have to said its very dissapointing. :(

i guess with the steering wheel it gives you a more realistic feeling of driving than actually playing a game... :P

what i'm wondering though is do they give instant / real-time feedback??

one thing i can't stand is if you yank the wheel all the way to one side, it takes about 1-2 seconds before the car on the screen responds...

Yeah apparently the official knew about Carribean garden, but it would cost them more money to bust these people then having a lost on piracy.

U sure? Thats way below cost, but then again large departments usually use undercost products to draw customer in. Please confirm if you can get them, as i just get it from BigW instead of from my supplier.
