Presently running a 17x9 +22, and silvergpx was I believe running those exact specs.
Depending on the tire size you go and if you're lowered, you'll want to:
- remove guard liner
- roll all guards
- possibly delicately restructure with a lump hammer some of the inner wheel well at the front
Here's the fit on lowered springs and 225/45 rubber

Rowans ordered some for his car and they came today, I didn't know what offset he'd ordered until the arrived.
He already said he's going to get the arches rolled etc, so sounds like they are ok then?
Should he be worried about the hub centre as it says 73 on the box and should be 67.1 shouldn't it? Does he need spigot rings/hubcentric rings?

As long as the centre bore isn't smaller than I don't think it's really an issue. At least I know the wheels I have on at the moment aren't exact. You can I think get the rings to fill the space though if you're concerned.

No worries. I remember looking it up at one stage and people were divided about, but given that most aftermarket wheels people are on aren't exact and we don't see lots of stories about it, it's probably a good indication it's not of utmost concern.
Will get some pics later when he opens the boxes, no tyres on of course they are on order - federal 225's I think.
They are Rota Grid R I think? (i'm not a wheel aficianado) and he's gone for hyper black.
