Sorry mate, I moved this to here, as I thought this would be more appropriate in the styling section.

Anyway you pick it up real quick from Grant, I guess you can't wait hey hehee, now all you need to do is detail your engine bay to match the "bling bling"

Nup,

Threw the stokky (complete with filter) over my left shoulder (and into storage of course). Everything I needed is there, including the bolts. Even sounds the way I wanted it to (quiet when im not planting it - you can hear the stereo that way). Verrrry interesting noise when you step on it though.

Air Box

Post by dstocks »

Buckets 'UAS Cold Air Ramp Pod Kit ' came from UAS at $295 for GR/$395 for GPX:

http://www.uniqueautosports.com/priceli ... st_fto.htm

And mine is a second hand ARC Super Induction Box and I think it originally came from here:

http://www.perfectrun.com.au/performanc ... ionkit.htm

and if you add this to the ARC, it is better still:

http://www.perfectrun.com.au/performanc ... hamber.htm

Both kits will make your FTO get up and go a little harder....

Testing

Post by dstocks »

Unfortunately, at the moment, I think that the only place Bucket and I are testing our cars out is in a trailer. Mines got the broken mount (im driving like a granny at the moment) and Buckets car is off the road completely with its own problems

Siiiigh......yeah mine's not going anywhere far really. I can sit in the seats and make car noises, does that count?

But don't you worry, I'll make up for all this not driving around by.......driving around! And yes another Wakefield trip is on the books.

Poster: Yeah it's a UAS CAI kit and the box is to stop the hot air from being pushed into the filter. In the ACT we don't have to worry about boxing our pod filters so it definately wasn't done for the police.

The silicone colour can be changed when you order it....I went with red because they had it left in stock so they wouldn't have to make another one.
I think it breaks up the blackness of the engine bay.

The filter is a Unifilter oil based foam filter. The filter is designed more for flow over filtration. Once it comes time to change the filter I will probably move onto a different filter.

And I've not done the piping to the front bar yet.....as that's just such an effort (take off front bar bla bla) and I'm a lazy sod. 8)

1st come, 1st serve mate. You can't wige at someone just because they won't hold it for you. I can tell you if he was going to hold it, none of you guys would of seen his product for sale here, as there are lot of people already offer him before he posted for sale, but most of them can't pay upfront.
