I acctually live in Lake Tekapo now, 3 hours south west but my car is in Christchurch..... and i need a new 1! i will be in chch from the 24th for about a week, would be good to check it out if poss

TEKAPO.... Love the place. I poured piss at the pub there for about a year. That was about 4 1/2 yrs ago though. Absolutely loved it. Is Nessy still there. If so say hi to her from me as 'K2' not Karen.

By the way it should only take you 2 1/2 hrs to get to Tekapo. Do you go State Highway 1 or Thompson's Track?
