Well you see its a toss up. We actually know where & when we are cruising so there's no need for pages of dribble trying to organise :D

That's right, the prez is in NSW and decides when and where the national cruise will be, so looks like you'll have to wait for the important people in NSW to make the call

does this mean that the FTO Australia club is degenerating into a NSW club and then the rest, when you can be bothered to inform us of what is happening

Both Sublime19 and Tarkus I'm quite offended by those comments. The cruise will happen, but at the end of the year now. This committee is not state justified... We are doing our best to make it a national club, hence the state coordinator positions. If you are not happy with this I'd rather you took it up with either the President or myself via PM, comments such as the one you just posted are not constructive. There is nothing to inform you of until the committee itself has the details of the National Cruise, which we dont at the moment.

As far as NSW curises go, they are organised by NSW members, NSW members cannot organise the cruises for other states. It is up to the state coordinator or members to organise cruises for their individual states.

If you want to discuss this further please pm me

Sorry, never intended to offend anybody, and if I have then I really am sorry. Tarkus, I never meant it in any way that NSW is more important, I was only joking... so please don't take it seriously as that wasn't my implication.
I completely respect the people that take time apart from their busy schedule to take up the responsibility to be co-ordinators.

How did this conversation degrade so quickly?

Tarkus - Do you think that I will "forget" to organise this National Cruise??? I assure you, you will be THE FIRST TO KNOW of the next developement. Please stop asking.

Sublime - I appreciate what your saying - but be very careful when a committee member or moderator tells you what to do. I know you like to add your 2 cents everywhere in this forum but:

That does not mean continue on with it in this thread - apology or not. This is stated in the forum rules http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... pic&t=6485

Im sorry if I sound cranky, but I have been at work for a solid 16 hours now - for the 3rd time in 5 days. The last thing on my mind is the national cruise.

As mentioned above by Karen, the club is run by people from all corners of the country. The list of people is also in the same thread as mentioned above http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... pic&t=6485

Meetings are held monthly including these people. The topic of how this club is structured has been covered many times, but I am always open to new suggestions. If you wish to do so, start a thread in general & I'd be happy to contribute as would other committee & IMC members - in a constructive manner, not a smart arse cynical one.

Cheers,
Ben
