next engine mods??what can i do which wont cost me a kidney

next engine mods??what can i do which wont cost me a kidney
i'm gettin chris's safc soon and before i get it tuned tought i'll do a few more simple and cheap mods to my engine. ive run out of ideas so need u guys to tell me what else i can do.
at the moment im running
exaust mods- rpw extractors, catco high flo, hks dragger exaust
intake mods -custom pipe with apexi pod filter, boxed and caied
other mods sittin in the box- iriway s'plugs+ magnacor leads
what do u guys suggest i do before the safc install and tune ?

im pretty sure there isnt any gain with the fpr other than it doesnt let the car lean out too much with the mods. the last time lee took a look at it he said with the current mods on my car i wouldnt need a fpr. but yea if your looking at getting work done on the tb/ manifold u'll need the fpr

also, some more ideas
kinda crazy ones though....
1. dual stage exhaust system (butterfly-valve in the exhaust opens at a certain RPM to direct air out of the exhaust before the muffler to allow more air flow for top-end power)
2. re-direct an air conditioning duct to connect up to your intake pipes to provide extra cool air. not sure how that would work though.. and what the ecu would think of it.

to be honest the bang for buck value of this mod is highly debatable. rpw hasnt got a proper dyno figure to give and from what ive heard its roughly about 5- 10 kw which kinda roughly equates to 100-200$ per kw.i have been looking at the manifold upgrade and the twin tb upgrade they have. cost would be around 1000$ though. i think i'll do that after a few months. any other mods u can think of?

Lots of stickers - every sticker = 10kw Chrome ones are worth 15
but seriously I think a kidney may have to go . . . .
I guess im at a smilar stage to you (well performance wise anyway) and im relising more and more - power dont come cheap in a 2L NA. I guess you either have to be prepared to spend plenty more $$ or be happy with the perfomance you got.
Im looking at stuff like lighter flywheel and better clutch, suspension setup (Tein adjustables waiting), Lighter rims and semislicks for the dragstrip (did a 14.7@92Mph on my 18s the other day) And then investigating stuff like the heads, cams, tb, custom plenium blah blah further down the track - trying to find more info so I can learn off other peoples mistakes etc but info very hard to come by. I work on the princaple everything helps
Hey - for what my FTO owes me I could have had a nice Evo 4 over here in NZ
But for me I like the challange and being different - I bought it to be a show car because they're not so popular over here yet there is still the availability of aftermarket parts
