Aspenmai wrote:2 years ago i was quoted $3600 with just cars
i'm now with shannons - $1600 full comprehensive
lower excess than just cars
and agreed value
pay by the month
no extra charges
good bunch of people
I recommend highly
ps. under 25 - full no claim - female (so i'd be saying thats a good deal)
i thought they only insured ppl over 25? must have confused them with someone else

What? excuse me?
Are you saying i'm confused about who I am insured with?? or are you saying you're confused about what I wrote????
Both my FTOs have been insured by SHANNONS...
When I first got my FTO (2004) I was told the same deal - that my FTO wasn't modified enough and that they don't insure under 25s - So I can understand what people are saying. Nowadays, Shannons has grown and is a larger company. They cover cars owned by 'car enthusiasts' and may consider insuring you where you can prove or show them your interest in cars. Such as being apart of car forums, car clubs, track days, going to car shows, general knowledge of cars, interest in modifying cars etc. Remember though that everyone has different driving records and hence will influence your ability to get covered. These are just some points of advice from my experience.
Anybody wanting more details just PM me
