i heard thats common when u install a FPR...seems wierd to me. However since an FPR is vacume sensitive at start-up I can only assume it takes a while for it to get going. depending on what type, with a static FPR and u increase the idle pressure maybe it has some issues actualy delivering the fuel to this pressure when the car is not running.

Recommend doing an ECU reset first. If that doesnt fix it, check the fuel lines going in & out of the regulator - they could have got them on ass about.

Remember FPR at end of fuel rail, not the start.

yep... my ignition turned to shite after installing the FPR as well
only on cold start though... warm start is no trouble at all

my new optima yellowtop is turning it over quicker now...
and i'm still waiting to see whether new plugs & leads will make an improvement...
but to my knowledge your ignition is never going to be as good
as the stock FPR after you upgrade it :?

Found the stock figures:
2.7 bar (40psi) with the vacuum connected (standard)
3.43 bar (50psi) with the vacuum disconnected (wide open throttle)

lol if its on 10 pound (same as PSI) then thats your issue...no fuel :P if its 10 bar then ffs u have too much :P

is it rising rate...make it comes good but seems like its too low to begin with.

Bennoz is right 35+ would be the norm.

42psi on vaccuum is good.
Assuming its rising rate, it will go up with throttle.
Anything less than 35 is risky for sure. Car would run lean and damage your engine.

10?! My max i put is like 5 ... 8O
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

So where did you have your dyno done, it would be intereting to see what other member might get at the same place.
