The cheapest I'd heard of before were for $2000-2500, which would need to be replaced every few years cos they're obviously not the best quality ones you could get (which cost about as much as an FTO).
Yeah, I can't seem to justify $2000-3000 for a hinge as a cosmetic mod .. though I have come part of the way towards accepting it.

I'd gladly pay $1200 or so for a set now, whereas 12 months ago I would have scoffed at the idea..

The guys who have tried it & run into problems might pay a premium for a working set though..

nvr2low wrote:ok mate so i understand you had to do little change on the fender only a tiny bit is this correct. was this jsut a total bolt on project mate if so make the first one and i will buy it for you.
how much ???
Ok there doesn't seem to be enough interest for a group buy. so i'll be putting the first set up on ebay.

Yes they are full bolt on and can be installed with the usual tools most of us have. The only irreversible change is the small cut in the inside of the fender.

Yeah been busy with other things but have been working on the car every now and then. I need to get out on a cruise to catch up with everyone :D

How much they open before going up....enough room to squeeze out if you don't want too much attention :D

 yeah wtf  these are not some cheap kit made for another car. they we designed for this car and i guarantee you won't find a better fitting set. The reason i made these myself is because this is my daily driver and i don't want to deal with sh*t fitting doors everyday.

The wheels are RAYS GTS 19x8. I imported them direct from the rays factory :D ...cost a mint.
Also had to do a lot of wok to get them in. I had to modify the inner arches and have made fibreglass arch liners. Also built an air suspension setup...so no more cracks in the front bar from being too low

Has anyone outside of japan done air suspension on an FTO or am i the first?

Also heres a link to another pic for those interested :) http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/7610/dsc03353.jpg

How do i make a poll?

and are you talking about a lambo door kit or air suspension?

Air suspension was a one off for my car and i have no plans to sell them at the moment.

The main reason i want to get a set up on ebay is to fund the making of more.

I dont care much for the air suspension.
The doors are what interest me

you should be able to edit your original post, and down the bottom theres an option to add a poll.

Must admit, I may be interested in the doors as well if $1200 is the price......

Even though you arent going to produce the suspension setup, I would be interested in what you used to get the air suspension setup working though. Have been thinking about that one for a while
