What about an fj20det? Tuff as nails motor and prone to much less problems than the sr20's are. If it was me though, I wouldnt bother with an sr20det and go straight for an rb series. You could find an rb20det for pretty cheap, chuck on an rb25det turbo and easily get 200 atw kws.

Shame though, that webber set up looked the goods...

Its @ $800 and just need a manifold + turbo to make it a sr20det :twisted: Downside is its in victoria.

I've seen non-turbo sr20's go for $400-600 on ebay, just have to wait for one to come along.
Wouldn't he be looking for a RWD SR20? In that case, what help would the Pulsar forums be?

i'z got a spare sr20 with a Garrett GT28rs Diso Potato laying around :roll:

I can't give the Potato away (i am Irish & love 'em) but I could work on something with the engine...

Nup. We put s stocker back in & hocked it.

Plan is now to put an SR20 into an old 3 series Beamer 8)

yes please :twisted: ....I honestly considered a 89-91 3 series bmw for track purposes...agile cars they are
