So i only need one tab for after market ecu?
Why does the motor have both crank and cam angle sensor?
Which of the tabs did you leave?
ECU, not sure, leaning towards Link G4 Xtreme.
Ben, may I ask, who is your tuner? PM if more appropriate.
Cam gears, they are very high quality.
Will put some pics up very soon.

Am also ordering a few more bits from Works Engineering.
Should prob start a thread in the other cars section.. maybe a thread in the tech section concentrating on the engine mods.

Clint, a key thing to look at with cam gears is the tooth profile. Can't remember the specifics but if the tooth profile is not right they can tear up the belts pretty quick. How does the tooth profile compare to the stock gears?

What other parts does works engineering have for the FTO?

Hey those gears look the goods!
FYI, have a look at retarding the exhaust cams a few degrees. I picked up 10kws on 9 pound boost just retarding the exhausts by 2 degrees

Well, for a Haltech yeah, only needed the one tab. Dunno what the Link will need.
I ground off all 3 of the smaller tabs, left the big one.
It was originally tuned by Envy Imports, but has since been retuned by Toda Racing.

Really I always expected it to be a real nice workshop.
Is Adrian the only tuner there?
You'd trust him for anything to do with the car?

Shane, pic comparing cam gears is in other thread.
I will wait to decide on, and get the ecu, then figure out what sort of reference signals it needs before cutting crap off...
Where is Toda located, Ben?
What ecu's is he experienced in?
I think, generally, picking up on the software for each ecu brand is really secondary.
If a tuner knows the requirements of and engine, and knows how to go about tuning them, then learning/familiarising with the software package to do so would probably compare with a driver knowing the fundamentals of driving, but familiarising with a new/different car/vehicle.
Even 5 years on, when going from the Elise to one of the other cars, I always end up with windscreen wipers when I should have left turn signal, at least the first left corner I encounter!
I was thinking places like JEM, CRD, Tune house, Insight, MRc Dyno may be worth speaking to.
