On the flip side, there is a light at the end of every tunnel.

He hit you hard enough to punch you into the pole / car / hedge / whatever in front of you, which in turn damaged the headlight & front bumper, didn't it? It did, didn't it.

So much for the nice clean stock car you once had :(

Take the bastard for all he's got!

Car was a gift from great grandad who passed away in 2002, he bought it for like $50,000 and it was priceless to you, including the $25,000 worth of work you did to the front end which is now smashed. Your laptop on the front seat (a $6,000 one) fell off the seat during the collision and fell off. All of this needs re-imbursement 8)

He s fucked though as its now classed as a hit and run, which basically means he has f**k all rights. Don't bullshit to much if at all, Daniel if he doesn't have a 6k laptop with specific damage...you are where this is going lmao.
Just know that he will pay, just can't remember if a hit and run is a criminal offence or not..

He could have a normal looking laptop that doesnt work, and we can take a hammer to it 8)

I got a laptop that needs a hammer
It also sucks that he broke your race-cam that you had installed on the front of you car :(
Anyhow good luck with it Lawso, Hit and run is an offence, you have to stop and give each other details.
BTW how's your neck feeling Lawso ;)

I’d like to ask a quick question… don’t want to take over your thread lawso......

I always thought this to be a clutch / thrust bearing type noise.
Car sitting still and push clutch pedal in, noise goes away, all quiet. Release clutch and noise comes back.

Is this noise a clutch bearing type noise or a shot Gear box bearing?

Shot input shaft primary bearing. Its quite common, always the first one to go.

This is my problem too at the mo, if you stand at the front, on low speeds, it sounds like the car is purring... How about a group buy since this is a common thing??

The bearing is the grand total of about $20. It's the gearbox removal thing you might have problems with group buying...

If the clutch is in when you hear the noise, its the thrust bearing, if the clutch is out, its the primary input shaft bearing.

Bahahah! I was thinking, just the group buy for the whole bearing kit, then we will be on our own when removing the gearbox
