I got one with the gauge I bought which was like $15.

At super cheap for a commy and excels n sh*t they're $3.50.

There might be a car that shares the same one as the fto for less then half the price, which would make $40 pretty expensive yeah...

So you're going to spend like 6 hours trying to find a cheaper sensor?

Just a little suggestion, IS YOUR LOW SPEED FAN WORKING? It will explain the whole 3/4 to hot then coming down to normal, as the low speed is responsible for this.

If your car is overheating even with the AC on get a new radiator!

Feel a tiny bit dumber reading this thread!

lol ...

Mechanic gave it the clearance that it was not overheating.. And fans were functioning.. It is meant to be the wiring into the temp gauge itself, or something on that circuit.

Auto elec needs to trace it... See if it is a sender, or just something shorting out the wiring ... New cluster was tried, so that was giving the same issue.

Fans are working fine, car is not overheating. Waiting on gauge temp sensor to arrive...

Daniel2019 wrote:Fans kicking in at 98deg and turning off at 92deg. Temp on the gauge reads up at H when fans kick in.

BUT, its not the cluster because I've tested a different working cluster on it. It's a wiring issue like I figured.
You sure you read it mate?

Maybe you should save others the brain cells and amend the first post to:
"After 40 days I went to a professional. Do the same, only don't wait 40 days."

EDIT: Just remembered, most never read the first post, only the title then press reply.
That line fits in the title, though slightly chopped.
