Only just Mick. And those Toyota's are making a surge up the ladder... Better make use of that Pole (BAHAHA... I said Pole) you scored for this next race. I wouldnt want to have to disown my team-mate... ROFL.
You take out some of the front runners and I'll work my way thru the field, and a Ferrari 1-2 finish would be nice

Oh Bugger, my sig block pic has dropped off the host ;(
Ok I don't get how this works, I signed up in some other game and it keeps saying "this game has advanced a session" but whenever i log into the site i cant find where to race.
All i can see it writing saying " _ _ _ _ has taken over _ _ _ _"
is that all it is? just writing and no actual game lol
I have to work - People on the dole depend on me.

You dont actually drive the car, no. Like I said previously, its all about setup and strategy...
Sparhawk wrote:Basically, you set up your car and driving style, qualifying strategy and race strategy. You run practice laps which give you feedback on your setup, and advice to fine tune your settings, and your setup is reflected in your laptimes. Once the game is running, there is a time limit to get all your settings right, then the Qualifying session is simulated, and the results posted. Then there will be a 24 hour timelimit for you to conduct your warmup laps before the race itself. Again you get to tweak your settings.
The race is also simulated, and the results posted, and you can step thru a lap by lap description of what happened thru the race. Then it advances to the next round of the championship where its all repeated.
Things you have to consider with your strategies, are things like Tyre choice, agressiveness, pitstop strategy etc etc.

Next game you start - I want in dammit!!!
No probs Shaun, 2 races to go in this one, then Ill start another.
On that note, do we want to stick with F1 2006 or try one of the others. I have tried most of the other championships, and the ones like A1GP and Champcars are very much reliant on luck, as the cars are practically identical. While you think that may be a good thing because everyone starts on an even playing field, it just gets frustrating more than anything else. The V8's are OK, but its a VERY long season to play. I havent finished my first season...
My suggestion would be F1 again, and Ill even pick a lower ranked team (not Ferrari or Williams or Mclaren or Toyota) to give you all a chance to beat me MUHAHAHAHA...

Who thinks they are king now???
Cause, I have no chance. Only had one race and one practice session, still working it all out.
Quite happy to be driving 'just' a Honda at this stage (assuming we stick with 2006). If we go back to, oh 1987, then I will be MOST happy to be driving something with Honda power
