Okay now with turbo engine im prob going to have to upgrade to 3 inch. Bugger.. only just got my 2.5" system installed... argh.. oh well if i get my new one this will be up for sale. Just wanna know what i could get for it.
It comprimises of:
2.5 inch Piping from extractors through to Quality High-Flow CAT, with all restrictors removed and then splits at the rear wheels to go out two 4 Inch Cannons.

This entire setup cost me:
Piping: $250
High-Flow CAT - $350
Y Piece - $100 i think
Cannons $145 ea.

So i think it cost around $850 for the whole setup... not including labour. So I was thinking maybe around $500... I only had most of this done about 3 months ago.. maybe less...but it sounds awesome and deffinately flows better than standard.
Im no mechanic but i assum this will just pull down out of mine go straight back up into another FTO.
I'm located in qld.. not sure how much postage would be.. wouldnt think it would be cheap.

Basically, what is for sale is everything from the point where the heat wrap ends, and the shiny bit starts... right through to the tips.

mate 2.5" will not restrict you at all unless your pumping out 300+kws

As far as i knew a bigger pipe would allow the turbo to spool fast or something?

sorry 3" is fine actually its what i have, got a bit confused :P

although 2.5" probably wouldn't be a noticeable difference with the kind of power you would be putting out

as for spooling faster the piping and catback wont make a difference to that, the down pipe and/or front pipe are what effects your turbo spool since exhaust is what powers your turbo so the bigger pipes the faster it spools.

lol, thats a crock mate.

All else being equal, The amount of work that can be done across an exhaust turbine is determined by the pressure differential at the inlet and outlet. Pressure is heat, heat is pressure, the ideal gas law.

Raising the inlet pressure is possible, but tough. Lowering the outlet pressure is easy - just bolt on a bigger, free flowing exhaust. The dump pipe is really just an extention to the zorst but does not act is isolation..

By lowering the outlet pressure the exhaust gas can expand more, and do more work. That increased work spools the turbo faster and in many cases gives some decent output gains. 15-30rwkw has been seen and is common.

Still up for sale people.
$500 for the lot. Im getting it taken off and my new system put on at Right Price Exhaust at Springwood.

Keep in mind you have to get the hole cut in your rear bumper. I just got a body shop to do it. $20... Not bad. Also a couple of hangers for the 2nd pipe... no biggie...

Cmon people... Some dual exhaust lovin available right here... Most of this system has only been on a few months. (only the cannons are 9 months old, the rest only about 3-4)

how loud is it?

Reasonably loud. If too loud all you need is a restrictor put in.
