Which Heavy Clutch should i buy?

Okay, As most of you know my car is now turbo.. yay!!!
So its time to upgrade the factory clutch. First of all im wanting to be putting down figures around 150kw atw next tuesday when it gets dyno'd. however after a few little mods i want to get up around 200 or so.
So I have two options:
1. Get a new clutch
2. Get current clutch strengthened by Direct Clutch in bris ($800)
I prefer option 1. as i dont want to be without my car for 4-5 days.
I also know some guys up the chain at autobarn, so would prefer Exceedy or something else they can supply as i get very good prices. like really good.
Now if the standard clutch is 400kg Clamping Pressure. and im trying to increase my power by 100% then i guess i need around 800Kg?? (or doesnt it work that way?) I do want to be able to drive it around the city but also let loose at the circuit. I was advised by one bloke that a cushioned brass button clutch would be suitable if i found one of the right pressure.
I wouldnt mind spending around $700 or so on it either. But i want it to be able the 200-220kw i plan to extract out of my car by the end of the year.
Any help would be awesome.

Direct Clutch or Jim Berry.
Plenty of clamping pressure, and the pedal feel won't be massively different.

But i dont want to be without my car for days. I need it very regularly. one day i can manage 2 would be quite hard and 3 near impossible. Direct clutch said they would need 3 days work on the clutch. not including taking it out and putting it back in again.
I really really really dont want to do that option unless its absolutely the only way.

Hmm. A twin-plate clutch would sort you out but I'm unaware of any that are made for the FTO.
Take a look at the Exedy line:

There's a couple of heavy duty ones, don't know if they'd hold up with the additional torque loading from your turbo (should be alright under 150kw, probably not at 200kw). Treat it easy for now, and you should be ok.
BTW those places should be able to modify an aftermarket clutch for a bit more holding power if you really need.

Alright. Well what if i got an exeedy clutch. somethat could handle 150kw easily.then get it modified later on. which model would be the on i should look at? and can my mechanically minded step dad install it if i buy him a carton of crownies?

Pretty sure mine is the sports organic Sam - MBK-7277SO
If you can get that one modified for that bit extra, it might be just right. Its really nice to use on the street too, not too hard on the foot.

And yeah... could be done by the old man, its no different to any other clutch install. Get him 2 cases of Crownies thou

I have an exedy heavy duty and it's awesome
Not too heavy but plenty of grip
Unsure though how this would go in a much more powerfull setup

yep me 2... Took a few days to get used to, but definately made a big difference over the standard clutch

I nearly did but got talked out of it - said was very difficult to use and painful in any kind of congestive traffic

I have any in my line. Twin plate cushion button. Which really makes it a mild twin plate.
Very hard to drive in heavy traffic but u get used to it.
Grips like a mofo...great for launches. Can be served also.
Not suitablle for cars running low HP...no point.

I've driven a lancer with FTO motor/gearbox and button clutch
Seriously would not recommend this if it is a street driven car
Even though it was drivable (ie, you could still get around) it was just stupidly stiff to press and the amounts of grip the clutch had was unbelievable... smooth changes were a thing of the past!
