I've search, there's not too much spoken about gearbox oils. I have a Tip, just wondering what other tip drivers are using.
Also, gearbox oil change, is it hard to do? DIY??

Look in the Oil Stickly thread. There is info there.
Dont use a gear oil in your Tip and dont use an Manual GB oil in your Tip. Although granted a gear oil will have more friction modifers which is what u need in your tip.
The manual spec SPIII rated ATF, never had any issues - at all. It has more friction modifiers than Dextron III and if its specified for it, then use it and dont f**k around.
At the very least use an ATF not a gear oil.
