hi guys, my slave cylinder just died, does anyone noe where to get one? and also other alternatives like from other car makes whichwould fit?

What do you mean by died? Get it reconditioned.

i'm in nsw, where can i get it reconditioned? its leaking now, and mechanic says to get replacement, but its hard to find this slave cylinder.

look up your local brake and clutch store and give em a call. not abs or midas, thet will just send it off to a specialist. in the yellow pages they should say they recondition parts. it is most likely the seals if it is leakIng, which will cost you under $50 for a seal kit. they will find one to suit.

i've called n sourced, but no luck on reconditioning. does anyone noe of a similar slave cylinder to the ftos's? maybe a lancer model? evo? urgent! thanks

Try calling Bernie's Brakes in Dandenong Vic. (03 9792 0418)
They fit a stainless steel sleeve to the bore and will supply new seals, had many cyls done there in the past.
