Problems with whiteline springs

Post by mitsufto »

Hey Guys,

Just after some quick advice. I bought a set of whiteline flatout springs all round and i lowered the front of the car today using a DIY guide on this forum. Everything went well except the car didn't drop much at all maybe a 1cm a little more.
I am still to lower the rear as i ran out of time but was wondering if the car will drop more as i got the flatout springs cause they are suppose to lower the car by up to 50mm.

Any help would be great.

thanks,

scotty

no i haven't yet. How long do you think it will take to settle out? also should it lower a lot more when it settles?

Turn the car on & turn the wheel full lock left & right a couple of times if you haven't driven it yet. The car will come down to its settled level.

didn't work. Going to pull the struts out again and check that everything is ok.

Is it possible for some people to post up pics of their cars with whiteline flatouts in them, just to get a good idea of how much my car should come down.

cheers,

scotty

Car didn't have lowered springs beforehand did it ? It's quite rare to find an FTO sitting at it's factory height these days.
