From that I can tell, there are 4 brands of after market LSD available that will fit the FTO

Cusco do a type RA and a type MZ, in both 1 way and 1.5 way

But which would be the best for a FWD drag car and why?

Hm, i'm not sure on those other brands but I personally would stick to the Cusco 1 way lsd's for a FF car.

Finally some info on Diffs, I have never known what to look for when searching the sites.

You link to an Eclipse diff from Quaife, is that the same as an FTO diff? GR? Would that fit the 4 speed tip? Or should I just contact them directly?

The cusco MZ lsd is labelled as a drag racing diff on their jp website iirc, and their RS is labeled as a street diff. Not too sure what the difference is.. their probly both noisey but the RS would put up less of a fuss when you turn.. the MZ i have if im going 50kph and turn the wheel slightly and let go it'll snap back to center agressively on its own, but i havent experienced any other fwd diffs before

SG, did you have the plates rearranged to reduce pre load, or just went in 'as is' out of the box?
