Ok I have started the 3rd A.I.M. today and will be taking pics along the way
stage one and two are now done
first stage was to clean all the sh*t off it that has been gathering up for years
and yes I whent out and got a sand blaster to get things done faster
stage two grind off all the casting marks/ join marks to get that smoother ook to it.
the next pic is well you could say start and finish
this one I am doing now will be the 3rd one. Each time I do one I get new tools to help get it done faster
as for time well it takes about 50 hours to do from start to finish.

I will have to start a list of PPL that would like one that way I have an idea of the number that I need to do.
so if you want one post up your name and GPX or GR with it.
the cost will be $200 and your old A.I.M. that way I can keep going with them.
eddiii wrote:aza would you do mine next? ^^ but can you paint it red instead of blue? a gpx i have. and is the $200 include fittin? ^^
the $200 is not fitted sorry but yes one can be done with red

So with the new tools, does this mean you will keep your finger tips & finger prints ...
Ohh, and you know I am always up for a shining AIM ...
no I will still have to take some fingerprints off
but then again I just got a new air powered sander as well so pending on what grit papper I can get for that I could keep them
Yes and No
its more of a pain in the ass job but can be done in around an hour.
the big thing is to get all the washers off befor you take the manafold off that way you dont drop them into the motor.
