WTB: Bracket for facelift front bar indicators

Post by Dan25 »

Just looking for the brackets that attach to the indicators so you can secure them to the front bar. Mine were removed and never returned when the car was complied...

You are going to have a seriously hard time locating a 2nd hand one. I can probably get you a new bracket from Japan if you want me to get a quote on the part for you. Would take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Well when it was complied, they made new brackets in order to put the indicators in the foglights position. Do you think it would be easy enough to make a new bracket for the original indicator position, rather than buying one from overseas?

Not one that will get it facing perfectly in the right direction. I have the same problem you do. Mine have been swapped over. I was lucky enough to get my foglights back (with brackets). I had to make brackets to fit them where the indicators came from. Can never turn them on though as they dont point in the right direction. Ill put through a request for a quote. they may not be as dear as you think.

    cheers

Ok, thanks for getting the quote mate:)
WIth the fog lights though, I don't need a bracket to reinstall them to where they are meant to be I don't think...I removed the indicator the other day and then I installed the foglight to where the indicator was and it seemed to fit fine. on the bottom of the light were two holes for some bolts and on the top of the lights were some sort of clips and they clipped in to two holes. I don't know how easy that explanation is to understand but yea, either im stupid and i infact do need a bracket, or my fog light mounts are different to yours...

      Hi Dan,

Just thought you should know that if you move your indicators back to the orginal position you car will be defectable. They are complied nowdays with the indicator in the inside positions and if you want to stay legal I'm sorry to say you will have to leave them there.
