you ALWAYS have a choice.......

Option A
let them speed off and them be the one that hits someone and kills them.....and don't think it can't happen to you...

-or-

Option B
Invite them to a track day - then you can all go at it as hard as you want

i bet your a p plater?

your a bigger of a man to let the fool try and race you than to lower yourself to their level and race them. racing should be done on the tracks or strip YO!

VTEC YO!!!!! will always kick your fto's (Gholdwayne) ass soo steer clear ;)

Yeah ! thats what i was thinking, option B, so, which cars eh ?

and yes slurpee, im a P plater as you can see on my car, but green so....

Plus, if we were in the tracks, its a more friendly time as you get to meet people you race, if its in the streets, both of you think of each other as hoons and its always in my mind that im being setup for a cop ambush so, i always refused, there was a holden sv6 full of teenage white boys yelling at me so hapilly to race but i jus rolled down my window and smiled and shook my head in refusal hahah..

how embarrasing how the mivec can get beat by a 4cyl 1.8 engine that the mivec itself had its technology adapted from plus it being 6cyl 2.0L... oh well, i love my car, hell...

race those v6's and vtecs when they have a full car :)
they will redline before they think the car move onto next gear. as for gpx vs VTEC YO!!!!! you'll look like your leading until 2nd and 3rd gear VTEC YO!!!!! kicks in :P

my old auto fto had 150kw at the fly and its deffinately slower than my civic with like 120kw at the fly.

mivec vs VTEC YO!!!!!, i just love the mivec sound... plus i dont know if its just me, but i feel tiny boosts throughout the rev range then the main one at 5500... i havent experienced VTEC YO!!!!! though..... while VTEC YO!!!!! is good, it sounds tinny, no offence..

As we are modified, but still road registerd - we are in class 2B - which means we typically race modified MX5's, Lancers etc (engine capacity under 2L - non turbo) - if you do supersprinting you get put out with cars similar to yours in engine capacity and modifications.

If you are stock you would be in a class 1B - so unmodified MX5's, Lancers etc would be an example of your track companions.

We really should be in SVB (Special Vehicles- Low import) - but there's never been enough cars to actually justify a class - and as we're on a par with the others - they've never complained.

Yes - you want to watch out for the VTEC YO!!!!!'s - one of our friends took out all the track records for Class 1A in his rock stock Honda Civic...... and he's Asian - so that disproves the old rumour about Asian drivers!!!

A lot of it is how you drive - we are quicker round Oran than a Turbo XR6 that we know - he kills us on the straights - but he can't match us around the turns....... one day he'll learn to drive it better thoughh :P

If you are seriously interested in track days and want to know more, let us know and we'll be happy to answer any questions.

Cheers

A good driver should be able to compensate a slightly slower car. So maybe psned some moeny on trackdays should improve your timing without any further mods. :D
