hey mate any chance of getting a pic of the 3A racing filter you have? cos theres a few diff 3A filters around, also to check the condition cheers.
just a question how does the 4" one fit? i thought only 3" would fit on the ftos?
cheers

the 3a that i have is the 3" one, the tfi, which iv only ever used for about 15 mins for testing purposes was 4"..
i think you'd need a 3" metal pipe or a hard pipe, as the inlet on the 3a is soft... ill post a pic later after work, the top of it is the carbon style.. only used it for about 2 days as i bought the uas unifilter anyway. so the 3a basically brand new but with a tiny bit of dirt which u could not really see..

so would you be able to just remove the stock air box and filter and just put the 3A one on straight away? what do u mean by the inlet is soft?

if u plan on using the stock intake pipe which i suggest u dont, you will need a 3" adapter pipe for any pod filter
$15 from autobarn

it depends, if its a GR, then you can attach the adapter to the MAF sensor, but for a gpx, what can you use for, say, the stock pipe, considering how hard it is to find a metal intake pipe ?
