Yes, that's the one. Couldn't find it again.
Description: On certain vehicles, the wire harness sheath in the passenger compartment is damaged, which was caused by the screw for the hood lock release handle bracket during wiring installation due to insufficient space between the harness and the bracket resulting from improper securing of wiring. Vibration during driving can cause the harness and the screw to interfere with each other, and in extreme cases, this could cause a short circuit and a blown fuse, in which case, the turn signals or the speedometer etc. will fail.
It caused all of my guages to fail. Bloody cars. I was never able to fix it though I did move and attempt to re-insulate the loom and wires... couldn't see where it had actually failed. But it hasn't done it since.

Nice find ..

My GF's dad actually has the book with the FTO reviews & crash test analysis in it which this website is trying to charge for..

I'll scan it in & post it up .. 'tis an interesting read, but the FTO's hold up a lot better than GTO's in the crash tests from what I remember

That would be because the FTO was a new design, where the GTO of the same vintage was built from late '80's chassis and safety technology

94 and 95 model cars get the rust problems. They changed the glue on the 96 model and onwards.
