Well it really depends on wheel size... if you have stock 16" rims, tyres are relatively cheap, 18" you're looking at around $200 per corner for quality tyres.

You can buy new Federal 595's on ebay, I'm sure many here would agree these are some of the best quality and value street tyres you can get.

They would be great for the street at $133 each if you have 17" wheels for example.

And off topic: What's the difference between normal 595 and the 595 EVO?

Im not that knowledgeable about wheels and tryes but im pretty sure ive got 17" so $133 would be awsome. Thanks a lot for the help

No problem, just take a look at your tyres tmr in the daylight and read what it says in terms of size it'll be written along the tyre... e.g. 225/40/18 etc.

Just be wary with Ebay guys, Im about to purchase a set off Ebay & you really need to check the age of the tyre with the seller.
The manufacture date is stamped on the side wall of every tyre. They only have a shelf life of between 2 & 4 years depending
on how well the tyres have been stored. 1 guy tried to sell me some RT615's for $100 a corner until I found out they were
6 years old... I knew it was too good to be true.

I have just scored some yokohama S-drives 225/35r18 for $276ea although I know the rep so can finally get round to fitting my 18's

Ok i need help i got a set of 18 by 8 inch tyres (Speddy wheels) and i have got 215 by 35 tyres on them they are running out or rubber and i need to replace. Bob Jane says that he cant go any bigger than 215 by 35 tyres on a 18 by 8 rim but im sure ive read someone here going bigger than that. there were a set of 235 by 40 that were very reasonable but do they fit i donno

help me pplease

225 x 40 fit on 18 x 8's mate. That how I roll

you will get rubbing with 235/40. I would go the 225/35/18's to be safe

You don't if you rip the arch liners out

you can go to 245 on on 8inch rim but yeah you will get rubbing either 225/35 or 225/40 is the go there

i just did an edit as you got in befor me Ben
But as Ben has said that is what he uses so its a win.

225/45r18 will rub go with 35 or 40 profile
