Well, for starters, auto is different from manual, LSD is different from non-LSD, ABS is different from non-ABS and 4 sp tip is different from 5sp tip.

lol, yep. Well, 2 different revisons of the same box, with 2 factory options of LSD or not available in the 2 different boxes

The GR box had a slightly longer final drive ration to make up for a lack of Mivec.

So im guessing its the mivec one that can handle more power then ?
That means the mivec sits at the higher rmp at the same speed of the gr dosent it ?

I have a mivec motor but I'm putting a gr 4spd tip. Does that affect anything?

Got absolutely nothing to do with how much power it handles. Both got same diametre shafts, same bearing, same syncros. Just different amount of teeth on the final drive cogs.

Good question, I don't know with tips.... but somthing tells me you're just about to find out!
Just make sure you match up the driveshafts to the box.

Yea but there was a thread recently saying there's 2 boxes and one handles more power then the other and 1 sits at a higher rpm then the other at the same speed

Its the same @#*king box! Just different final drive gear - hence the one will sit at a higher rpm at the same speed.

Trust me, either variation will hold more power than you could possibly put into it. The GR box in my car holds 250kws just fine.

By the way guys, found a place to get the driveshaft boots re-greased and replaced for $30 each. Or reconditioned for $100 per shaft. I don't know if that's cheap but they're called Suzukisuper and are at auburn.

I would think that's very cheap.

    What's included in the 'recondition'?

My boot seals are split with oil every where prob should get it fixed
Thought bout getting the uprated shafts but it ends up being about a grand for the pair plus shipping and its not some thing that I would need but if you need to replace may as well take the time to upgrade
