Sump Plug

Post by ritici »

So I need a new sump plug for my 95 FTO gpx. Ive been told that it's 1.25 x 17mm - I've been looking all day but I can't find one anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one in Canberra?

same as any other mitsi mate,

thread pitch is actually 1.25
cant remember but think actual bolt size is 14mm

and 17mm is just the head size

but they are a very generic bolt ;)

Supercheap sell a multipack of assorted sump washers. I needed one too so i just bought a whole new plug, cost $4. 17mm head bolt is right. Just dont over tighten it.

Get a magnetic sump plug :) Comes with a washer and all... help collect metal shavings and material in the oil...

Bit of extra coin though
