Few parts needed

Post by redgoesfaster »

Hey Guys,

I'm chasing a few things if someone could help me out at all.

Front engine mount
Front steering racks

I'll add to list when I get home and remember what I need.

For a 97 gpx.

Or if anyone could point me in the direction on who would sell them? I'm located on the Gold Coast.

Cheers.

That could be a whole bunch of bits, anything in specific from the rack or the whole rack?

Whole rack. I got movement in the wheel when I jack her up. Got a bunch of sh*t to do when I get all the parts.

Half moon seals, steering racks, front mount, tappet. etc. list goes on... sigh when I get round to selling it whoever gets it is gonna have a fresh as car...

Well, again, that could be a whole bunch of bits. Can you be more specific? If you get hold of a wheel whilst its on the ground, can you move it left or right, or in & out?

If you can move it in & out, then its shot ball joints, its you can get left & right movement, then its tie rod ends. Its very rare that the rack itself lets go.

You prob don't need new tappets u prob just need to have them adjusted as you have fixed tappets unlike the gr witch has self adjusting tappets

If I had movement in my front wheel the last thing I would check is the steering racks.
