Post by Ecnerual »

Hey guys i neeed your help on this

has anyone had trouble with a squeaky suspension?

the rear driver side sqeaks like hell!

ive changed the shocks, and the strut top (second hand though)

could it be something like the bushes? or the spring? or the strut top? (second hand was no good?)

Please help!

ok I've just got mine fixed with the same prob. Apparently mine squeaks like hell. If u hoist your car up, you should see a slim circular bar just behind the bar that that the rear wheels are attached ( I dunt know the term for it lolz). Feel across the slim circular rod (about 1m long across) to see it its smooth...any rough surfaces would mean that the slim rod is rubbing against the other bar. Fixed the problem with using some rubber to cover the slim rod secured with cable ties. If thats not the problem then it might be something else altogether...but considering you have just changed your bushes, this mught be a place you can have a look at. I wished remembered to take some pictures when it was hoisted at the mechs just now
