Project F lights

Post by Connor_1994 »

So i know quite a few people would like a set of project F lights, myself included, and finding them is vertually impossible.
so, if the actual lights are available to be put in,which im sure we could find some, i could make moulds and set after set of project F lights, and evan the clear protectors,
Basically im trying to find out how many people would be interested in pursuing this and if i get enough interest ill go ahead and get a pair and make some moulds
(: i know id live some

If the price is right, the plastic is UV resistant and there's an option to black them out then i'm in.

By right price I mean <$400.

haha, yes,
play nice,
and trust me, it will be done and definately will be done as i want a set, i should be picking up my fibreglass materials hopefully this week or early next week,
as for the actual lights and bulbs themselves, im sure ill be able to find something through jaycar or someone, so its just a matter or making a mould off a current one, or completly making a mould from scratch, which will take longer, so if anyone has a set or know someone with a set, plead for them to let me borrow to make a mould haha,,

and yes, the lenses will be able to be blacked out and tinted and everything, which i can organise and do for you iff you tell me (:
nothing is impossible,
nothing within reason anyway, haha

I seen a Fto on eBay a while ago the lights had different colour background. Wondering if you paint them to get this effect or would they be custom? I know how noob that sounds and I'm sorry.

Clear lenses could probably be made fairly easily by taking a mold of the current lenses and recasting in clear plastic. The large size could be tricky to handle without specific equipment but the piece itself is quite simple.

People paint them ... Pretty easy to pull apart...

I like when the front lights also get painted... On white/red/yellow FTO's it looks hot...
I just had to add it ......
