Check engine light and over heat light

Idk if any one else has this but when ever I turn on my car the check engine and over heat light comes on for like two secs then goes off idk if this is normal

Yes it's fine, the ecu is just doing a check of the engine. If the lights don't go out or continue to flash then you have problems.
But in saying that just check your oil level to see if it has the right amount in it ie not low.
