Exhaust hole

Post by ftofml »

Hi guys,

I'm getting my exhaust fixed soon but i really want to know your ideas..

I have a hole or two which i've spotted right where the piping comes down from the engine and connects to the rest of the exhaust at the bottom..

I hear the air loss and its pretty bad.. and im pretty sure im losing a lot of flow..

I heard if its way up the front of the exhaust system its worse on the setup then if the hole was further back.. i also believe its before the o2 sensor..

I had to take the battery off the hook for some time and the gearbox memory reset..

Now im driving it.. it feels to me like the car has no bottom end.. and the gearbox isnt reading right when its trying to learn how i drive etc....

Could this be a possibility from the exhaust having no pressure at all? and the o2 sensor going haywire cause of the neumerous holes?

Thanks.

Easy seeing you don't live somewhere like the UK

Water vapour from the engine also condenses and sits inside the pipes, rotting them from the inside out.
