Gearbox not selecting 2nd 4th and reverse

Hi Guys,

First post here i just last week purchased a 1995 gpx fto manual and has been driving great until today...
Was just driving normally and went to select 2nd and nothing.. i pulled over to a back street and found that i cannot select 2nd 4th and reverse. My clutch seems to be fine and i can easily put the car into neutral, But when trying to shift to any downward gears it will not engage. I believe from doing a little bit of research here that is possibly the gear selector cable?
Does any have any thoughts?

Im slowly learning about cars but my knowledge is quite limited if anyone could help me id be most grateful!

those bloody clips were a bastard to pop back in though.
