If you purchase from car mate....be prepared for the worst possible fit ever. It may also arrive at your house in more then one piece... just like my lip which i had to bog and repair myself..

I vouch for how well his kit fits and the quality of it, it's a perfect bolt on bar and it's very strong I just bought a full body kit for my Celica off of carmate and it is so crap I sought regret buying it, it has gaps everywhere and is really brittle I have already put a small crack and chip in my front bar from treating it too rough because I was use to dstocks front bar on my misses car

I must admit the fibreglasser has done a good job on that mould!

Yep I also like the way he has screwed the mesh in it's so much better then mine with just flimsy little bits of wire that you bend over the mesh to hold it in

i have heard bad things about car mate as well (there just around the corner from me) but i bought my car with a vailside front bar which i think looks awesome. i have always disliked the vailside front bar but it suits the lines of the fto. when i took my front bar off the other day to check my fog lights i noticed it is stamped by carmate and the fitment is really good :)

Well some say the Carmate in NSW is better than the one in Vic. That i do not know...but would you rather spend the money to get something that has been tried, tested and works with a a stamp of approval by many FTO members or spend the money on an item with mixed reviews on whether it fits or not with a chance thatyou will find trouble fitting it...not to mention trying to sell it off later. No one will buy something that doesnt fit I tell ya. So take your pick :)

Good call on the bar and for not getting the VS one.
The wing well it comes down to what you are looking to do with the car, for looks and a bit of down force on the track go with the VR wing. But if you want to fill your boot lid with wing and get good down force on the track go with the adjustable VS wing.

Most Carmate stuff will fit, just needs a fair bit of prep work... Unlike dwaynes will fit without any prep. Which means you can basically paint it and chuck it on.
