Ok so car was shifting between gears fine.
I turn it on yesterday and i had so much trouble selecting any of the gears....it was running fine for a week since the manny conversion...but my mate said i may need to replace the slave cylinder. What one is it? As there was three to choose from, at the shop.
The one they had in stock was 80 bucks and looked like mine does.
Anyone able to help on this issue?
Cheers guys.
(Having to turn the car off and selecting the gear to first at lights then starting the car again sucks balls...)

If you've got a brake-hose clamp then I'd clamp the clutch line, remove the slave cylinder and take that in to get the right new one. Nothing worse than getting one that "looks" right, only to find out the pin doesn't travel far enough or the bolt holes don't line up.
edit: or you can do what bennoz said

Just drove my car without the clutch...f**k that's sh*t.
Need to replace slave cylinder and i f**king hope i don't need a new master slave cylinder. (whatever the oil reservoir is called..)

Ok,
Slave Cylinder is costing me 51 bucks from burson automotive penrith.
I asked for the CE lancer one that goes on FTO and that's the one that came up.
Does that sound right?
I'm going to drain and refill with fresh brake fluid in the clutch reservoir.
Anything else at all??
Thanks Everyone (Bennoz)

Mate, usually when one is gone, the other wont be far behind it. Be wise to grab a master as well.
They're only about $65 bucks & not hard to change.

Well if he'd searched the countless other slave threads in the first place, he would have known that in every slave thread I say the same thing about swapping both. Call it a Gen Y present for being lazy
