They are bump stops.
They go onto the rod of your shock.
Their purpose is to stop the shock from bottoming out. This is when you go over a bump and the shock ingresses beyond it's capability. With these bumpstops, you will hit them stopping the movement of the shock before it hits internally (bottoms out)

Thanks for that! Should it have came with 4 of them? Or the stock bump stop reusable?

Should be 4, but yeah stockies are reusable if they're in reasonable condition.

As Bennoz mentioned, there should be 4. Basically 1 per shock absorber.
You can reuse your original ones, but check their condition and make a judgement on that.
If you added lowered springs, consider getting some shorter bumpstops. I've heard people cut their original ones down but not sure if this is a good idea or not.

I can tell you with my lowered suspension I don't get close to hitting my bump stops.

Thanks for that guys I checked today and front ones a still in good condition so no problems there but damn 1 whole day and me and mate only managed to put on one spring lol and we had to go buy a impact wrench to speed up the compressing.
Hand a all cut up and bruised what a failed day

take off and putting on strut was easy though

The strut top will probably knock you out or go through your roof without spring compressors.
You learn from what you do, second size should only take half as long

When we did Nick's suspension, we started at 10am, and finished at about 7PM
But thankfully we already had a rattle gun here :p

That's what we thought.... it was a pain to get one of the rears out for some weird reason...
We found the front's to be the easiest on Nicks :p

Don't worry once you do this a few times you'll be able to do all 4 in a couple of hours

Back when i knew jack sh*t about cars my brothers father changed front shocks over with a manual spring holder in about 30min, straight in straight out he made it look too easy.

Damn that was a mission! 2 day of work paided off.
Yep Technikhaus you were right lol back ones were little bit hard due to the middle shock going down, got the shock stuck in the lower control arm since it went in diagonally

and there not much room to work with.
Fronts would have been easier if i knew what i was doing, so back seem like it was easier since i knew what i was doing this time.
i'll put the photos up tomorrow on my post in Members Ride, so far looking good
but thankfully there was the tutorial otherwise some suspension place was gonna charge me $600 to get the springs on.
just need wheel alignment then all set, what a way to spend father's day with my dad lol

we had the exact same problem, it was stuck in the LCA, it's very satisfying when it's all done though
Looking forward to seeing the pics

The rears are easier than what I described in my DIY if you take off the rear control arms. Whole lot just comes out then.
Last car I put springs in was the missus FTO, with rattle gun it took me 3 hours to do the whole car.

Mt Teins are height adjustable & the bump stops that came with them are actually longer than the stockies! Do the math on that...

Where can I get these HKS springs? and how much do they lower the car (if they lower at all haha I assume they do though)
