Sydney: RARE FRONT BAR! Pre T's (blended DC) PRICE DROP!

Post by scarecrow »

Unpainted, brand new, just been gathering dust in my garage ever since the UK group buy. You *cannot* buy this bumper anywhere in Australia, DMD Image (who used to make this style by combining your stock bumper with a DC Skirt and then bondo'ing it together) no longer make blended DC's (only blended Bozz Speeds, boxy and less flowing by comparison).

If below you see a "one time" advertising announcement you'll need to hit refresh.

The build quality isn't as great as say a gel coated Mitsubishi genuine bumper, but it's passable, and any decent body shop will be able to clean it up and fit it for you. One small gouge that needs filling (lower right hand near the intake vent) but no crack's or fractures.

Yours for $600 cash pickup in Greystanes, Sydney.
Now yours for $550 cash pickup in Greystanes, Sydney!!

I'd budget anywhere between $350 and $500

I8AFRE, i think you better ask DMD when you call them tomorrow. There are few members already said they don't make them anymore. Read scarecrow's post properly or you going to get "spank" by him big time.

If Sublime is your "bigbrother", Scarecrow is your "bigdaddy"

And yeah read before you spam

Everyone I speak to tells me they no longer do DC/Stock hybrid bars like the one pictured, they *only* do Bozz Speed bars with the centre cut out... it looks somewhat similar but is entirely different.

Ok i was in there less than a week ago and i asked him for a bozz speed front bar and he showed me the custom one on his website

http://www.ebridge.com.au/dmdtheimage/

and i said no not that 1 this one and i showed him this

Bozz speed with centre bar removed. And he said yeah which eva one u want i can do both but my real point here is that when i said bozz speed he pointed to a dc bar so idont think he knows what the brands are he just copies them. i hope i have understood this properly

btw scarecrow, I'm guessing you ended up going to President Body repairs to see Glenn? I was down there today to give him my BX rear bar, I forgot to ask if you ever ended up going but I'm guessing you did since you're recommeding them :)

Yep, for this

I rejected my offer that I made and gave me another price which he'll sell it for and I took it up.. now I just need him to get back to me to confirm it!

I alrdy have a dc front bar (I dunno if u seen a pic of my car, it's on page 28 of "NEWBIES: REVEAL YOURSELF")
so I think i'm gonna go for this.. even though i wont have enuf money to put it on for a few months :x

Due to my brilliant skills in being able to talk sublime out of buying my front bar (he already has a DC lip in fine condition, crazy bugger wanted to spend 1k on buying and fitting my bar just for a big wide open mouth), this is still very much up for sale.

f**king buy it someone, I need more money to spend on my motorbike :D

Bump, $550 *sniff* I'm still sad to see it go, I just can't afford the cost of putting it on (well... I can, but, I can't afford the temptation to then get my side skirts resprayed and reattached, boot lid filled de-locked and resprayed, and front guards resprayed).

If you really want my honest advice then, well, you should definitely buy this bumper 8)

I'm now saving for a 600cc 2 wheeled upgrade come new years, I need more monies :P
