another turbo kit, NOW ON EBAY

Post by FNTSY »

NOW ON EBAY HE HAS A RESERVE PRICE OF $1700

hey guys as most of u know i have sold turbo kits before.
this latest kit is off my fto when i sold it.. the current owner had different ideas of what he wanted from the car. i am selling it for him

It is a real neat set up.

it will include

garrett turbo
intake pipe and air filter
turbo blanket
cooler pipes (ceramic coated)
intercooler
silicon hoses and clamps
exhaust manifold
oil and coolant lines
Turbo smart plumback bov
external wastegate (runs internal as well u just pick what one u want to run)

Does not come with the microtech computer but most people can pick one up second hand for like 600-800 or they can get one new for just over 1K

i do have that set of injectors (390cc) to go with it too but they will be an extra $450

If u are serious about the turbo kit please pm me as i have to run prices by him but i can tell you he doesnt want to let it go cheap and i know to get this kit made cost me 6 arms and 35 legs.

I'm interested in this kit too, what is the price? Does your car still have the standard internals? How many Psi of boost does your car run?

this set up on a standard fto block that had decompressed head gaskets so it was 8.5:1 made 200hp at the front wheels on 7 psi. with out the decompressed head it made like 240hp st the wheels on same boost.

i once went down the 1/4 with my old set up and got a 13.8 @105mph or something like that

yest all exhaust flows through the turbo, your two 3-1 then join to 2-1 into the turbo.

i believe the turbo is a gt28 or there abouts,, its in great nik

a boost controller or bleed valve will be able to adjust the waste gate spring,,

the standard internal gate is set at like 5psi and the external was about 7psi from what i can remeber

just a few more questions, why did you choose to mount the bov where it is, isnt the closer to the intake manifold the better? and it says its plumb back, i dont see any pipe to plumb it back to the intake, is it just unclear from the photos, im interested in the set up too :)

jonowong: it is a plumback have a look at the black pipie and two stainless clamps that connect it the the air intake below it, it was mounted there so it could be plumback. i have had many turbo cars and yes there is a debate on weather closer to the tb is better, but on my 400hp rx7 i dont even run one lol so a bov mounted anyhere is 100000X better then none too.

ruffryders_sohaib who isnt replying to the uk guys? i have had 3 people from the uk pm me about it and i have writen back within 12 hours,
if your not talking about me then im sorry lol

the idea on the basic kit was about $2500 now there may be some movement of this price and that doesnt include computer,

im still waiting on my mate to get back to me about hes final asking price but he did toss up the $2.5K

(all prices in AUSTRALIAN dollars)

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.
