Spetz, i've decided to do a conversion on the lancer. Be it 4g93t or 6a12. Do you HAVE to have a mivec to swap with?

hmmm don't HAVE to but the price would go up

Keep in mind Liquidity to do the swap it would be much easier to get a half cut so you could give me that engine
And if it makes it even easier find a cheap half cut would a busted engine as I don't care what condition the other engine is in

Damn with you doing the engine conversion we might have a repeat of those previous discussions 8O

Damn! I have the 'busted engine' as you put it - sitting in the garage (albeit the basic block) but no $4000 to spend....shame

Actually no it seems like it's not for sale anymore :(

I was doing calculations and I would be able to afford the 2.5L MIVEC RPW engine.

HOWEVER, I called RPW and the $10,000 asking price does NOT include cams, extractors, ECU or the clutch as it was advertised on the website.
As everyone knows cams alone are $2500 which is really blowing this out of reach :(

I told Dave that seeing as he doesn't expect to sell it, I will offer him 10K as advertised. He will let me know in 2 weeks but seems doubtfull as he said he is not all that keen on selling it as he is using it in a circuit FTO he is planning on building

And Droidy! Come on, you know it's EM1 all the way for me! :)

mmmmm... Honda.... *DROOOOOL*

Well I told Dave that if he can sell me the engine as advertised for the advertised price I would buy it
I find out in 2 weeks whether I will have a 12 second all motor lancer or not :)

Yeah but Dave said he doesn't care if he doesn't sell it as he will use it on his own built for circuit FTO

False advertising unfortunately

Is this engine still available, I'm in the market for a new engine and gear box etc.

Two questions, for the price in the intial post, where does the installation need to be done.

Also I've got at GR engine, how will that effect the price.

The engine is still available
No gearbox though, and does not include the MIVEC ECU which you would need
Also, it would be swapped in Yennora Sydney
Unsure how the price would change if your engine isn't MIVEC

I can find out more info for you if you are serious, including extra cost of converting from non MIVEC to MIVEC
Also, the engine is not assembled yet, which means if you want any more mods done all you need to pay is mods
ie, forged pistons, rods, cryo crank, just need to pay for those parts and no labour
