hmm, that looks a bit sloppy and loose, not very tight and solid?

God I'm gonna regret posting that

One thing about the one I had in the racecar, the shifts were smooth and solid and the shifter didn't feel loose at all. Also the gear knob actually sits slightly higher than the stock factory shifter, so I didn't have to go searching for it as if it was low down.

It's tighter than all the stock ones I've driven.

Damn that's tempting...
So you just need to raise the 'cage' thingy, to install that?

A but load of washers would do the trick

Pretty bloody good for the price. Can you take a measurement of 1st to 2nd so you can post a direct comparison with the others?
Just remove the gear knob, put it in 1st and put a ruler next to the top of the gear stick, then move it into 2nd and post up the measurement.

Did you take any pics when installing it? Side on pics for comparison would be good.

Measured the throw and it's just under 70mm.

Yup, needed longer bolts, also needed to grind some metal off. Which can be seen in the post I linked to.

Yeah Vectoses one :) since it the most inexpensive one and easily available, i would get the RPW one since it only like 40 minutes away from me but pricey compared to vectoses one
