Car starts to shake :S
Ok after driving my car around for about 10 mins or more.
and then when i have to stop in first gear my hole engine starts shaking causing the car to shake with it....
My car will soon go into limp mode.
i got the error codes 41,42,43 but why does my car shake when in 1st gear :S??
what will i need to do to fix this?

Take you car down to Joe & Rickswhat will i need to do to fix this?

Call the insurance company to let them know your car is having all these probs since the accident which weren't there previously, it should also be covered by your insurance, not just the body work.
The engine shaking could be that your engine mounts were damaged in the accident ... get it own to J&R's & make the insurance pay for a tow truck if you need it.

I doubt it'd be related to a recent crash ? It was just a minor one right ? And i wouldn't be driving the car if it were showing pump and injector problems either, fuel starvation is not good! Get your fuel path checked out from pump all the way to injector. If it is something wrong with those items, you can easily pick up a 2nd hand pump or something, clean the injectors and would be a good time to change your fuel filter too. Not expensive, just a little time consuming.
The EGR part isn't promising though =/

its nothing to do with fluid, its definatly electrical, could be a short even.
without being with the car all i can say is check every cable, but if it shakes like that id say o2 or tourque sensor is smoked and it doesnt know your revs and is starving your engine of fuel (hence the shudder) then going "oh sh*t ive got a problem" and going into limp mode
anyone else?

But if thats the case wouldn't it shake straight away when i turn my car?? because right now i have to drive my car around for about 5-10 mins and then it will start shaking.... but the weird thing is if i leave my car on for 30mins nothing will happen... the car will work fineSchumieFan wrote:its nothing to do with fluid, its definatly electrical, could be a short even.

i've got a similar problem, after driving for a while my car, when i stop at the lights, the car starts to shudder....if i put it in N then the shaking stops, once i;m driving its ok but once i stop again the same thing. I pulled over and the shaking is clear from the engine as it starts to shake quite a bit while is in drive (1st gear). Any suggestions?

Error codes 41, 42 & 43 are related to the gearbox in this case, or it wouldn't go into safety mode. They relate to incorrect gear ratios which means you input speed sensor and your output speed sensor are not matching up. One of them is going tits up so you need to swap them with someone elses so you can see which one it is.
Either that or give them a good clean and that might help a bit.
