having finished a short course on 3D modeling recently, i have started creating a model of an FTO...
i did this so i can start conceptualizing things for it without spending any money (if you can't afford it, CREATE it)
over the next weeks i will be updating this thread on new concepts i have worked on..
currently i'm working on a new body kit...
these are some first pass renders of the model (see below) so pardon the quality of it... as you can see i haven't got any materials yet as i'm concentrating on the modeling...
crits welcome!!
and please post your ideas as well, if you have anything you want conceptualised for your fto just post it on here and ill try and work on it as much as i can.... just remember i only do this on my spare time so bare with me..
WOOWWWWWW thats really good Adriano, u got anyone to make the bodykit yet?
I get one, no question ask. Where do i sign????

Adriano you've got some real talent there buddy... I love those designs, would you be able to add some things like a scoop on the roof simular to the motorsport elise and maybe some more vents like in the front of the rear flairs (between the door and the rear wheel arch like on ferrari's) and maybe some small vents on the bonnet aswell on the sides... just some idea's
Would you mind if I email some of those designs to NewGel here in Canberra to get a ruff price to manufacture something like that cos I recently sent some other sketches to them and they said to come in and discuss it with the boss as [quote] "anything is possible as long as the funds are available"...
im using 3D max to model and render... still learning the software, this is actually my first 3D model in max...
i will be rendering them at high res once im happy with the model..
so far i have been working on it for a month atleast 3 hrs/day... got too carried away with the mods, i dont even have it in stock form yet
Robb, yeah you can send the images to them if you like...
and ill keep those ideas in mind too...
ive recently modelled a different bonnet... well it's just off the new XR8...
pics of it soon...
yeah you're right, the widening on the rear starts from the door... so if it ever goes into production you will need a bit that goes on the door as well, then blend it in....
rear end still stock at the moment, that'll be the next thing ill be working on....
the wing is from this website, i used their images as a reference... http://www.gtwing.com.au
