Yes I work near Bursons, Yes I park away from everyone (all the way up the other end of the carpark, I don't trust anyone near my FTO, it's alarmed/I remove my stearing wheel/I can see it from the workshop/it's watched by cameras and I have other anti theft devices activated, for anyone coming for trouble(not meaning you ZFL45H1)), It's Wyong Council depot/workshop, I'm a mature age (even though I don't act it) apprentice heavy plant diesel mechanic.
The "Car of the Year" FTO went for $8000

I have seen it, looked it over and I have talked to the "blonde babe's" boyfriend who bought it for her and he wanted my suspension, extractors, exhaust and wing. I missed out buying it before him by one day, for my wife.(I ended up buying her a 2.5l Vectra )

wow thats funny cause my mum nd her partner had an fto and a vectra, and decided to give me the fto LOL vectras arnt that bad! it was euro one and had heaps of torque

We have to remove engine cover, intake, rocker covers and front right wheel (so we can turn the engine).
Just a quick question do you have a MIVEC engine?

I've done rear spark plugs before,
So this should be about the same level of pulling engine apart work
I just don't want to do it 'unsupervised' because It looks fiddly.

I wouldn't bother with the faff of taking the front wheel off. A 22mm socket fits nicely into the crankshaft nut and turns it without the extra bother. Plus, I found that if I parked the car up on a couple of blocks of wood it raised it enough to make it a bit more comfortable to work on.

Main arm = Camshaft?
I assume your talking about valve stem seals, if so then no.

I only have so much room at my place (there is vacant space over the road we could utilise) so if it gets too big then I might have to think of a better location.

Yep turn wheel to right and you can turn the engine by inserting a 1/2 inch drive into the bolt.

Wheel off is a must when doing the timing belt.

Impact is a must unless you make a balancer locking tool or unlock with the starter method.

ACL sell the seals. Really all ya need is sealant around the old plug seals, works just as well.

Ah if you have hit the waterpump then you will be fine!! How do you tighten the bolt btw?

My impact wasn't strong enough to crack the bolt on removal so I had to resort to starter.
I did it back up with breaker bar, wheels chocked and on the ground and in gear.
